Officer Peace was a pig-tailed macaque found injured by the side of the road by police who nursed him back to health and made him one of their own. He was made an honorary member of the Pattani Province police earlier this year, and in his brief time with the force, brought smiles and laughter to those he met on the beat, helping officers break the ice with local residents in a tense region....
